We have seen a lot of fake candidates nowadays and especially if there is a skill that is in demand then just specify it on your CV even if you have no idea what that is. Secondly, we’ve faced a lot of proxy candidates. Here we have one candidate who wants to apply but there are proxy candidates who participate in the interview. So this one incident where one of the candidates who was quite bad in English in the first round of interviews got really good in English in the last round of interviews. Now the HR participating in the selection is not a part of the technical rounds but they did not do something off regarding the English speaking skills.

We checked into this and we found out that it was the team leader of the applicant who was participating in the interview on his behalf. So we caught him and what he said was shocking where he mentioned that everyone is doing this and why are you only aiming at me. He started saying he’s got family and he’s got his sisters whose wedding is nearing. And I said you will now be blacklisted as a candidate. I also mentioned you are not just ruining your name but also our country’s name because some of us represent India in front of global enterprises. So we really do not know how many candidates actually take part in such activities.
